21 DAY FAST
This journey is a 21 day period of fasting and prayer designed to prioritize our relationship with God and focus our attention on what matters most.
Whether you can’t imagine your life without prayer or you can’t imagine where to begin, the power of prayer isn’t determined by the presentation. It’s not the strength of our faith, it’s the object of our faith that changes things.
FASTING
In addition to this time of prayer, we would love for you to join us in fasting over the next 21 days! Whether you decide to give up a certain type of food or take a break from social media, this form of self-denial, when used to focus on prayer, will align your heart with the heart of God.
Please remember that every person is different and you should only choose what is a healthy and safe choice for you.

FASTING
While the Daniel Fast is cleansing your body by omitting certain foods for a limited time, the deeper and true intent is for spiritual connection. The purpose of fasting is to seek a more intimate relationship with God while ridding your physical body of unnatural, self-gratifying foods and drinks. During this time, your focus is to be on God, not on the things that consume your daily life. Remember, the purpose of fasting should be to take your eyes off the things that distract you in your daily life to focus completely on God.
The Daniel Fast is based on verses from the Bible found in Daniel 10:2-3. “At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.”
During the Daniel Fast you will want to concentrate on prayer, Bible study, and reflection. The Daniel Fast is a great way to enter into preparation for growing your relationship with God.
